Day 1: Arrive to Zaragoza & park near Plaza of Our Lady of the Pillar

Park your car and begin a short walking tour at the Plaza of Our Lady of the Pillar. Continue on to visit the basilica and cathedral. Pop into the Goya Museum for a collection of the artist’s works. Grab lunch in one of the restaurants in the plaza and head back to the car.

Drive over to the Palacio de la Aljafería and explore. When finished, depart north for Andorra la Vella, Andorra.

Plaza of Our Lady of the Pillar: The central square flanked by the basilica and cathedral, with a fountain in the center. The tourist information center is located in the plaza.
Basílica de Nuestra Señora del Pilar: A grand baroque cathedral.
Catedral del Salvador de Zaragoza: The cathedral was built on a site that the Romans, Visigoths and Muslims all occupied. The cathedral incorporates Mudéjar, gothic, Renaissance, baroque and neoclassical styles.
Goya Musuem: Goya was born in Zaragoza’s surroundings areas. This museum chronicles his life and works, hosting 15 of his pieces. The other part of the museum holds 48 other famous works by other artists.
Palacio de la Aljafería: Fortified Islamic palace, one of the most recognizable sites in Zaragoza.

Depart for Andorra la Vella, Andorra.
