All of these items fit into a 20L-40 liter backpack/duffel or a 17-21 inch carry-on rollaway bag.

What to wear when you depart

• Shirt
• Jeans
• Jacket / blazer / sweater
• Comfortable walking shoes — sneakers, sandals, or boots; depends on where you are headed, what you plan to do and how casual or formal you’d like to look

Pack

• 1 pair of shorts, a skirt or dress
• Two casual shirts
• 1 dress shirt
• 3 underwear
• 3 socks
• Pajamas

Accessories

• Phone + charger + headphones
• Dopp kit with toiletries + medications + vitamins
• Water bottle

Add-ons

• Dress shoes or sandals
• Second pair of pants
• Extra sweater or (rain) jacket
• Bathing suit
• Jewelry
• Hat + scarf
